For Regular Papers
<Paper length limitation with excess page charge>
All Regular Papers are accepted from six (6) pages to eight (8) pages. You will not be able to upload a manuscript longer than 6 pages unless excess page charges are paid. Note that even with the excess page charges, the maximum page limit is 8 pages for all Regular Papers.
<Note on revision>
As indicated in the commitment statement undersigned when submitting your paper, the final version will fundamentally correspond in length and contents to the submitted version, except for parts that might be added or modified to comply with the reviewers' suggestions. It is considered unethical to shorten or otherwise alter the final version in ways that make it weaker than what approved by the reviewers.

Paper Submission for Review
The organizers seek original, novel and innovative papers addressing topics related to the conference themes. All papers addressing topics related to the conference themes should be submitted electronically via PaperPlaza (in preparation) in the indicated format and length below. You can also submit a video as a supplementary material along with your manuscript, for instance to demonstrate your results.
All contributed papers will get through a peer-review process. A manuscript will be reviewed by at least two referees, who will leave review comments. When the paper is finally accepted in oral or interactive presentation, the author should submit a revised final version that reflects reviewers’ comments.
The contents of the manuscripts should not be submitted simultaneously for any other else publications in conference or journal. All submissions will be checked by the iThenticate tool for plagiarism and self-plagiarism. In case of plagiarism or self-plagiarism, all results will be reported to IEEE for further investigation.
The organizers strongly encourage participants of ARSO to discuss not only technological but also non-technological aspects of robotics. Regarding this feature of ARSO, the following two categories of paper submission have been prepared:

If a final manuscript exceeds 6 pages, the extra pages will be charged 10,000 JPY/page. The charge will be assessed at the time of conference registration. All accepted regular papers will be included in the conference proceedings (USB proceedings will not be distributed due to full online conference. The proceedings will be provided in downloadable format.), and published on IEEE Xplore as well. You should submit a PDF that must conform to the manuscript preparation guidelines in PaperPlaza, and shoud use the IEEE templete in LaTeX or MS Word.
