Abstract: In order to solve various problems of the super-aging society and extend healthy life expectancy, we are challenging to pioneer the future by promoting research, development, and social implementation using "Cybernics" (fusion of human, robot, and information systems), which integrates "human" and "cyber-physical space". It covers a wide range of areas, from the cellular level to robotics, cyborg technology, artificial intelligence, human big data, cloud computing, data analysis using supercomputers, international standardization, social implementation as clinical medical technology, treatment, diagnosis, prevention, healthcare, and promotion of cooperation between medicine and non-medicine. In this presentation, I would like to talk about Cybernics and its Social Impacts, focusing on the Cybernics technology represented by the world's first wearable cyborg "HAL", medical innovation by innovative cybernics medical and healthcare system and its global development. I will also talk about various cybernics technologies in the medical and healthcare fields, such as vital sensing for prevention, early detection, independent life support, etc. Furthermore, I would like to mention various initiatives for the creation of future medicine within the framework of "Cybernics x Regenerative Medicine".
